Happy Birthday to us! In the last 50 years, Breen Printing has had 3 generations of owners, including Peter Breen from April 2nd 1973; Derek and Merinda Jones from July 1st 1987; and Kirsty Woodhead and Luke Woodhead from July 1st 2020. Breen has continued to grow and evolve with this ever-changing industry and has been proudly located in Healesville for the entire time.

On March 25th we had a glorious day celebrating at the Healesville Amateur Race Club. We gratefully celebrated with some VIP’s, all of whom have played an important part in supporting us over the years. We’d like to thank all of those who celebrated with us. The weather was perfect, the company was friendly, and the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

On Thursday October 27th, Luke and I attended the 2022 ProPrint Print Awards ceremony, held at the Shangri-la Hotel in Sydney. What a night! it was a great evening filled with passionate conversations about this ever-changing printing industry and the resilience that the people in it hold. The Breen Team were honoured to be recognised in the Printer 50 and the Emerging 50, with top 50 trophies awarded to Myself, Luke and Jaz. Special mention to the team who stayed in Melbourne working harder than ever while we were away, you continue to motivate and inspire us to grow. We have come back to Melbourne with a creative mind and inspiration to keep moving onward and upward! – Kirsty

We are excited to announce that we have recently received a few awards and are taking the opportunity to boast about it. Early this month the Victorian Printing Industry Creativity Awards were presented via zoom and Breen Printing received a silver medal for the Small Business Printer of the Year category.

And that’s not all… On Friday evening we attended another zoom award ceremony for the Pro Print Power 50 presentation. These awards recognise industry leaders and are peer reviewed. When judging this years entries Luke and I were delighted to be in a mix of outstanding professionals, we had hoped to make it to the top 50, however made it to the top 20 and ranking at number 20.

Our 4th year apprentice Jaz was also recognised in the Emerging 50, her enthusiasm and passion for print always shines and we are impressed with her efforts. As a small business that works with pride, to receive so many awards in our first year as business owners is an amazing feat. We look forward to seeing what next year brings for our business and the team we are proud of. Watch this space.

Breen Printing have been a valued partner of Four Pillars since opening the doors to our Distillery Door, back in 2015. Breen supply us with menu’s & flyers of all sizes on a weekly basis, and have been able to assist with custom designs for A frame signage, rubber stamps and counter top display stands. Our local printers, Breen Printing, have been printing our brochures and business cards since we started business 3 years ago. Breen has been our main local print supplier for the past 9 years and we can’t fault their quality or service. Breen have printed tens of thousands (probably millions!) of brochures, swing tags, inserts, pamphlets, posters, cards and more.
